Juma is a boy living on the streets of coastal Africa. He is eleven.
   Set in the years between 1977 and 1992, the story depicts Juma’s journey through fear, betrayal, love and loss. Juma’s quest for freedom from the street life takes him dangerously close to disaster, as he falls prey to a thief who tempts him with a better life and a prostitute who tempts him with love. He holds on to the memories of a friend from his past, a shopkeeper’s daughter, who once told him, “You have to believe in yourself, Juma, break the cycle.” And what he discovers next changes his life forever.

Mommy Whey Aah You? tells a story about mother and son, and their relationship of trust, love and encouragement.

A little boy has lost his mother while playing hide and seek. What will he do? Will he be scared and cry or have the courage to follow his senses to find her?
